Experience the Sámi culture
Sami culture is quite different from the ordinary Norwegian culture. We have our language and still practice and live our lives by traditions inherited from generations. By visiting us you enter the largest county in Norway measured in square meters.
Sámi are the Indigenous people of Scandinavia and reindeer herders have been living and working with reindeer for centuries. Reindeer herding is a business formed by its culture and lifestyle.
We have countless generations of knowledge and experience, of the fascinating and charming creature that has helped us survive life in this cold and extreme nature of the north—the Reindeer.
Our unique camp offers a rare opportunity to connect with these animals, and to learn about the traditional Sámi way of life, practiced by reindeerherders.

Tastetesting – Traditional Lavvu – sami shop
Among other things that happen in our Lávvu village, we take taste testing to another level. A once in a lifetime journey to Guovdageaidnu/Kautokeino you late will forget is about to be real for some of you. A real Arctic village where Sami culture is still fully existing.
