Adventures
Sápmi and the life of a reindeer herder contains more diversity, than you perhaps are offered so far. With a history stretching over 2000 years, the Sámi are deeply connected to the Arctic regions of Norway, Sweden, Finland, and the Kola Peninsula.
We are placed in Guovdageaidnu / Kautokeino. By visiting us you enter the largest county in Norway measured in square meters. Our county is also the largest reindeer herder county in Norway.
The extraordinary by visiting us is that you for sure will be one of the few in this world with nearly 9 billion people, to check out for places you have been to. That itself is a reason to go.

Visit our winter camp
Winter season starts from october
Tastetesting – Reindeer – Traditional Lavvu – sami shop
We aim to help you learn and gain more understanding about reindeer herding and perhaps take you through a food experience you have never experienced before. Discover our unique traditional practices and language.
Our main reindeerherd is not where we have our camp. That is only pices of introduction of our lifestyle. The resent years we have had the oppurtunity to take our guests to a real fresh and cold journey, to visit the real authentic life. No electricity, no cellphone connections, no shower no restroom. Water is carried in from the river and firewood is a hard work away. Sleepover in a Lavvu. Contact us for more information.
Maybe a once in a lifetime journey to Guovdageaidnu/Kautokeino. It is the last authentic Sámi Arctic village where Sámi culture is still fully existing.

Visit our summer camp
Summer season - whenever the snow melts
Tastetesting – Reindeer – Traditional Lavvu – sami shop
For the summer our reindeer migrate to the coast side, away from the mosquitoes. Our camp is still operating and we take you trough the same journey with storytelling about traditions and practices. But you will visit us, where the reindeer are. In Suolovuopmi, Peska or Bæskades.
For the summer, we fish, we sow, we harvest. We can not say that when you come, we will harvest, it might be that we are sowing or fishing or doing something else.
We look forward to have you visiting us.
