Sami language and cultural dissemination, for schools and kindergartens
As a provider within Sámi language and cultural dissemination, certified by Ut på vidda, we want to present an offer we hope you find both exciting and relevant. The program we have covers requirements from the primary school curriculum for Sámi language and culture. For those who want the training partly in Sámi, this will also be possible.
Arctic Urbi conveys Sámi traditional knowledge through various thematic packages. We have planned work and activities, in accordance what is requested by the client.
The offer we have may be in cooperation with other Sámi mediators from different Sámi areas. We have chosen collaboration, so that the great diversity of Sápmi is represented.
We find that there is great interest in knowing about Sámi traditions in terms of herbs and plants, medication and extraction of various products from nature. Likewise, we find that Sámi food traditions and Sámi cultural traditions in general are more in demand. This applies to everything from reindeer husbandry to the outdoor industry.

There are two types of iron: heme iron and non-heme iron.
Heme iron is found in animal sources and is more easily absorbed by the body than non-heme iron found in plants. About 15-35% of heme iron is absorbed, while only 2-20% of non-heme iron is absorbed.
